We will work closely with you, at a pace comfortable for you, to help build your confidence gradually. Our instructors have helped numerous nervous drivers successfully overcome their fears and become confident and skilled drivers. We focus on techniques and strategies to manage anxiety, practice patience, and provide constant encouragement throughout your learning journey.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, we kindly request that you notify our office at least 48 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the vacant slot to other students who may be waiting for a lesson. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

You will have the same dedicated driving instructor throughout your learning journey, providing continuity and personalised guidance tailored to your specific needs and progress. At Driving Smart, we currently offer driving lessons exclusively in vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. This is because learning to drive a manual car provides you with a wider range of driving skills and versatility. Our vehicles are all equipped with dual controls, allowing our experienced instructors to maintain control and ensure your safety during the lessons. Learning in a manual car also gives you the flexibility to drive both manual and automatic vehicles once you obtain your license. Our instructors will provide comprehensive training and guidance to help you become a skilled and confident driver in a manual car.

Safety is our top priority at Driving Smart, and our instructors are trained to prioritise the well-being of our students at all times. In the unlikely event of an accident during a driving lesson, our instructor will ensure that immediate medical attention is provided if necessary. They will follow the appropriate procedures, document the incident, and notify our office and relevant authorities as required. Our team will then assist in addressing any necessary steps for insurance claims or further actions, providing you with the support and guidance needed during such circumstances.
