Payment terms
Once you have booked a course you will be required to pay at the time of booking, a deposit of £399 is required to secure your course place. Once we have allocated your course with our instructor and confirmed the course date to you the deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining course fees must be paid in full to the instructor BEFORE the first day of your course. The instructor will contact you to arrange payment and confirm pick up details before the commencement of your course. If you wish to book additional driving lessons you may purchase additional training with your instructor at the current hourly rate which will be provided to you before booking.
Cancellations
If you cancel your course you will lose your deposit.
If you wish to cancel lessons arranged between you and your instructor, a 48 hour notice period is required otherwise your instructor can charge the full lesson price. If you decide to cancel the whole course you will lose your deposit plus all fees due after 48 hours plus an administration / cancelation fee of £50.
We reserve the right to cancel an appointment if we are unable to attend due to; pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, instructor sickness, pre-booked holidays or immoveable traffic. We will ensure we reappoint as soon as practicably possible.
Driving test booking & fees
It is your responsibility to book and pay for a practical driving test, we can arrange this on your behalf.
Please ensure you notify the driving instructor of the test details if you have one already booked along with a booking reference, theory test certificate number and provisional licence number, so we can use our cancellation service to move the date forward if required.
Practical driving tests are subject to availability from the DVSA and waiting times may vary. We are not responsible if the DVSA cancel or postpone your test. In this event the DVSA will offer an alternative date at no additional cost and we will notify you. If you require additional tests, you will need to purchase these.
The instructor has the right to withdraw the car from your test if you have not reached the required standard to complete a test safely, competently and able to drive independently. The instructor will give a full explanation of reasons for withdrawal and offer you additional training and we will postpone your test until you are ready.
If this decision is taken at least 3 working days before your test, no additional test fees will be payable by you. If this decision is taken with less than 3 working days before your test – you will need to pay for a new test date.
Prerequisites – before you start your course
Before you course commencement we agree you can start and finish your driving lessons in the Norwich area, we pick up and drop off at Norwich Train Station or Norwich Bus Station.
A valid Provisional licence must be presented to your instructor at the start of your course and you acknowledge your personal data will be held and processed by us in connection with your course.

Our intensive driving instructors are fully qualified Approved Driving Instructors (ADI’s).
Ready for your test
There is no minimum number of lessons you must have or hours you must practice driving. How many lessons you need will depend on how quickly you learn.
Research shows that, on average, it takes people, 45 hours of driving lessons with a driving instructor plus 22 hours of private practice to pass your driving test. But, those learners that manage 100 hours of driving lessons plus practice are much safer on the road after their test.
It is essential you are able to drive independently to be test ready. If your instructor does not deem you able to drive independently then you will not be able to use the instructor’s car for your test.
Damage / accidents
Drivers may be held responsible for any uninsured damage to the vehicle including any insurance excess payment plus VAT if applicable.
